I watched HBO's Grey Gardens this weekend and was blown away by how good it was. Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore are fantastic. I am a big fan of the Maysles' documentary and after watching both the doc a few years ago and now the HBO film, I cant help but get drawn into the fascinating tale of the Beales'. Here are two interesting articles I recently read on the subject: the NY Mag cover story on the Beales' from 1972 and an article with Sally Quinn who owns Grey Gardens now (she bought it from Little Edie in 1979).
