Places to Look Forward To...

- Franklin Park, the new 2000 sq feet bar and beer garden in Prospect Heights is set to open today. Started by the owner of Southpaw, the space will have feature almost 1200 square feet of outdoor space and stay open until 2am. I know where I will be his summer. (Brownstoner)

- Vongerichten Veteran sous chef Tyler Kord will open a new restaurant in Fort Greene at 7 Greene Ave that he describes to Grub Street as "New American, with a little Hungarian, some Korean, and a bit of Wisconsin thrown in.” The principals are in place, including former Perry Street pastry chef Amanda Clark, Weather Up designer Matthew Maddy, and Lil Frankie's GM Matt Suchomski. Nice BK Trifecta. (Grub Street)

- Just as news comes that 360 in Red Hook is officially dunzo, comes news that the famed Chelsea Cheyenne Diner will move to Red Hook. Not so sure that is an even trade but so it goes...
